charming property with room for improvement

The property has a unique charm with everything set up for meals, making it great for family gatherings. I also loved the serene outdoor space that’s perfect for stargazing after a long day! The close proximity to a local winery added to our overall enjoyment.

However, the bathroom access through other bedrooms can be quite inconvenient.

what a charming little place, if you don’t mind turning on the heat with a screwdriver. also, no conditioner? that’s defintely an oversight. the beds seem a bit rickety too, making it hard to sleep. i woudl ve expected a welcome gift for my trouble, but apparently, just getting a room was too much to ask.

    Charming decor and serene views

Our stay was delightful! The charming Swiss-style decor instantly made us feel at home. The fully equipped kitchen allowed us to whip up meals as we enjoyed the peaceful creekside views. Mornings spent on the outdoor platform with a cup of coffee were pure bliss.

However, accessing the bathroom through other bedrooms felt a bit awkward. The loud bathroom fan was also a distraction during the night. It would have been nice to have conditioner provided in the shower essentials too.

    charming decor

    convenient location
    inconvenient layout

Solid location right next to GoldenEye Winery. The outdoor spaces on this property, especially the platforms overlooking the vineyards, offer a unique spot for stargazing or simply soaking in the serene environment. The interior decor reflects a charming Swiss style, featuring hand-painted furniture that adds a personal touch to your stay.

Accessing the bathroom through other bedrooms can be inconvenient, creating unexpected traffic in tight quarters. The bathroom fan runs constantly when the light is on, making it annoyingly loud. Additionally, the lack of conditioner in the shower amenities feels like a missed basic expectation. Some beds seem a bit worn or rickety, affecting sleep quality. Also, the small sign by the road is easily overlooked, making it hard to find the place initially.

We had such a fun family getaway! The beautiful property had everything we needed for our meals, and the charming Swiss-style decor added a unique touch. We visited nearby wineries, which made for great family memories, especially at the Pinot Fest.

My kids wished for a heater in the bathroom.

A Charming Retreat with Beautiful Surroundings

We had a lovely two-night stay at this retreat, where we truly enjoyed the spacious accommodations featuring fully equipped kitchens. The serene hilltop location offered stunning views of the nearby vineyards and peaceful outdoor areas perfect for relaxation. Travis, the manager, was exceptionally accommodating, enhancing our experience significantly. While our stay was delightful, I would have appreciated the availability of internet connectivity.

Staying at Indian Creek Inn was a delightful surprise. The hand-painted Swiss-style decor gave the place a charming and unique feel. The spacious common area and full kitchen were perfect for family meals. I loved being able to enjoy the outdoors, especially near the creek and the platforms that overlooked GoldenEye Winery. They were ideal spots for stargazing in the evening. The beds offered comfort, but some did feel a bit worn, which affected the quality of sleep. Also, having to access the bathroom through other bedrooms was a bit inconvenient for privacy. The lack of conditioner in the shower amenities felt like a basic omission, and the loud bathroom fan could be disruptive. The manager, Travis, was very helpful and accommodating, always looking to improve the property, like the bocce ball court he was working on during my visit. It felt more homey than a typical hotel, making my stay very enjoyable, despite a few minor hiccups.
